Live Music on Stage – Dogwood

Dogwood is a band from Birmingham, Alabama, comprised of guitarist Jay Pickett,
drummer Mose Stephens, bassist Charlie Youngson, and vocalist/guitarist Jack
Thompson. Winners of several local battle-of-the-bands competitions, these four, longtime friends played together throughout high school. The band’s energetic live sets feature
covers from by The Beatles, R.E.M, The Clash, the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Blur, and
others. DOGWOOD is currently recording their debut album and have released two
singles (“I Won’t Let You Down” and “Whiteboard”), which are available on all streaming
platforms.
